The jewelweed plant is known as natures antidote for poison ivy. This soap is made with wild harvested jewelweed and is great for preventing and treating poison ivy and poison oak. If you suspect you’ve been exposed to poison ivy wash you skin thoroughly with this soap leaving the lather on your skin for at least 30 seconds. If the rash is already popping up wash well with the soap and then leave the lather on without rinsing. This will help to sooth and dry out the blisters.

This soap is great to have on hand. I use this after being in the woods picking blackberries, going fishing, or pulling weeds in the flower garden. When I have used this soap after I know I was exposed to poison ivy, it prevents me from getting it!! If I have forgotten to use the soap and I end up with poison ivy the soap helps to dry it up fast.
